The Match was abandoned due to rain. Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first. Peshawar Zalmi Openers started in a decent way and made 34 without any loss in 5 overs. Muhammad Hafeez caught out on the bowling of Mahmudullah in the 6th over. Kamran Akmal was caught out by Asad Shafiq behind the stumps. Rilley Rossouw dismissed Eoin Morgan in the 10th over of the match. Zalmi made 61-3 in 10 overs. Rain interrupted after this and Zalmi's Inning was reduced to 16 overs according to Duckworth-Lewis Method (D/L). They started their innings, Tamim Iqbal and Sohaib Maqsood boosted their battings and reached zalmi's Score to 117-3. Tamim Iqbal made 62 off 46 balls and Sohaib Maqsood made 30 off 24 balls. 118 was the target given to Quetta Gladiators to win.
The Rain came again and ruined the match before gladiators show on the ground. In Last Umpires declared match abandoned and each team was rewarded 1 point.
