Quetta Gladiators won the match by 8 runs by outstanding qalandars in batting. Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first. Quetta Gladiators faced critical situation in batting. They didn't get the ideal start they were looking for. At the end of the 10th over, Quetta Gladiators were 54/4. They were Struggling hard to make fast runs quickly. Rossouw on damage control duty, strived his team to a decent total as Gladiators were 89/6 at the end of the 15th over. Later on Gladiators end their innings at 136-9 and set a target of 137 for the Lahore Qalandars with the great inning of Rossouw who made 60 runs of 47 balls.

Lahore Qalandars started their inning smoothly later on zulfiqar babar took wicket of jason roy opening batsman, they were 30-1. Afterwards Situation goes out of control from lahore qalandars and they started loosing wickets they were 61-4 in 7th over of the inning. At the situation when they need 60 runs to win from 48 balls, Muhammad Nawaz got the wicket of Sohail Tanveer in the start of 12th over where qalandar's score were 77-6. At the end of 15th over Lahore Qalandars were 104/6. Quetta Gladiators were not giving away runs easily. Then quetta gladiators pressurized the qalandars with their outstanding bowling performance and they were bowled out in 18.3 runs. they concluded their inning by making 128 runs.

That's how Quetta makes win their first match of pakistan super league 2.
