Quetta Gladiators won the match by 7 wickets and 5 balls remaining. Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first. Karachi Kings opened their inning with the slow start, Chris Gayle charged Anwar Ali with sixes and fours in third over and accelerated Karachi Kings score. Shahzaib Hassan caught out in the fourth over by Tymal Mills. At the end of 5th over Karachi Kings made 34-1. In the 6th over Chris Gayle was softly dismissed by Thisara Perera. Later on, Kumar Sangakkara & Babar Azam continued the game and made 64-2 runs in 10 overs. Sangakkara was caught out by Perera in the 12th over of the match. Keiron Pollard made 13 runs and got out by Muhammad Nawaz. Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam were present at the crease when kings were 105-4 in 15 overs. Malik also caught out on the bowling of Thisara Perera. Babar Azam contributed brilliantly on the other end and made 50 runs on 42 balls. Karachi Kings made 159 runs by losing 8 wickets and give Gladiators the target of 160 runs.
Quetta Gladiators Started chasing 180 runs, they were looking energized, and openers gave their team very decent start. In 3rd over Sohail Khan got the wicket of Ahmed Shehzad, Asad Shafiq was dismissed by Sohail Khan as well in 5th over. Later on, Sarfraz Ahmed And Rilee Rossouw made their place on the crease and crushed out the Karachi Kings bowling attack. They rotated the strike brilliantly throughout the match both players made 50's and had done the second massive partnership of the psl. Rilee Rossouw made 76 off 53 balls whereas Sarfraz made 56 off 42 balls. Rilee Rossouw was given the man of the match award.
