Result Match 16: Peshawar Zalmi Vs. Lahore Qalandars
Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 17 runs. Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first. Zalmi didn't get good start, Tamim Iqbal Caught out by Aamer Yamin in 2nd over. They made 42 runs off 5 overs with losing 1 wicket. In 8th over Yasir Shah got the wicket of Muhammad Hafeez, He was bowled out by Yasir shah. They completed 10 overs with 78 runs off 2 wickets only. In the 11th over Kamran Akmal Stumped. In 15 overs Zalmi made 116-3. Marlon Samuels and Shakin-al-Hassan was on the crease, Shakib done good hitting in last depth overs, he was dismissed in last over of the inning. Although they made target of 166-6 in 20 overs. Kamran Akmal played marvellous inning of 58 runs off 40 balls.
Lahore Qalandars were given the target of 167 runs to win. Qalandars once again failed to start good. They lost their top order within 5 overs of the match. They made 39 runs by losing 5 wickets in 5 overs. Later on, Aamer yameen and sunil narine made little partnership and qalandars were reached to 82 runs in 10 overs by losing 6 wickets. Sunil Narine was caught out on the bowling of Wahab Riaz in the 11th over of the match. Aamer yamin also dismissed in the 13th over by Darren Sammy. Sohail Tanveer and Yasir Shah somehow survived and they made partnership of 50 runs on the 8th wicket. In 15 overs Qalandars made 112-8. In the last over Yasir Shah dismissed by Afridi and along that Lahore Qalandars hope departed.
