Lahore Qalandars won the match by 7 runs. Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. Lahore Qalandars openers failed to give a good start, In the 2nd over Qalandar's captain was bowled out by Imad Wasim. Fakhar Zaman charged Kings with a beautiful batting dance along with Jason Roy. They made 57-1 in first 5 overs. Jason was bowled out by Sohail Khan in 6th over. In the 9th over Sangakkara dropped the catch of Fakhar Zaman. In 10 overs Qalandar's Scored 96-2. Umar Akmal caught out in 11th over. Fakhar Zaman was caught out on the bowling of Usama Mir, He made 56 runs off 36 balls. At The End of 15 overs, they made 140 runs by losing 4 wickets. After that Qalandar's Score was slowed down and they had lost their 4 more wickets in 5 overs. At the End of the inning they succeeded in giving a huge target, they made 179-8.

Karachi Kings started their chase to 180 runs. As usual, they got an awkward start and lost their major wicket of Chris Gayle in the 2nd over on the score of 7 runs. In the 4th over Babar Azam caught out on the bowling of Irfan Jr. In 5 overs they made only 28-2. Sangakkara & Shoaib Malik put an effort, and they made 72 in 10 overs by losing 2 wickets. Sangakkara made his 50 off 34 balls. He was bowled out by Sohail Tanveer in 15th over of the match, He made 65 runs off 45 balls. In 15 overs Kings made 124-3. The major crackdown started after that, Shoaib Malik was caught out on the bowling of Bilawal Bhatti. He made 39 off 30 balls. They started losing wickets and match were closed between both teams.
